UNIVER(S)E

To Infinity and Beyond opened in Taipei in the winter of 2019. In those early years, we treated the bar as a laboratory, believing technique would carry us further.

Our name comes from Buzz Lightyear, who was sure he was a real space ranger until he learned he was a toy, and only then saw how big the world was. We have won a few awards and once thought we had flown far enough, yet the further we went, the vaster the universe of cocktails became. So in our seventh year, we keep the technique behind the bar and care most about the first sip, delicious and then surprising, leaving flavor and a little play in the glass.

Over the years, some joined us, some set off elsewhere, and many familiar faces have stayed since year one. This menu is called Univer(s)e: no ingredient exists on its own, and neither does a bar. To everyone who has lingered on either side of the counter, thank you.

For our seventh year, we step into ORCA IN ORBIT, our new uniform co-designed with WISDOM®. Orcas move in pods and look out for one another, and their bold black and white shaped its silhouette; we imagine them leaving the sea for space, much like this team. To Infinity and Beyond has never been only about flying toward the unknown, but about finding the courage, at every stage, to redefine ourselves. This is our seventh departure.
